... And Here We Go!

Well, as if the gaming world needed another AD&D blogspot .... Here is yet another one. Maybe over time this blogspot can take on a shape of its own to set itself apart from the other Dungeons and Dragons blog sites. Only time will tell.

The core of this website will be covering our campaign journals from our AD&D sessions. At the time of this post, we have not started out game, due to mostly me still working on our brand new home grown campaign world. I will post updates as I get them so at least people can keep up with what is going on with us.

You might ask, why are we going to run our campaign in a homegrown campaign world? Well, it's simple ... every world has its good parts as well as bad parts. I wanted to create a world that had aspects from various gaming worlds in it that I liked, in other words, take the best from other worlds and combine them into a single world. Yea, I know ... that's cheating, but I don't like to lose (grins evily).

Our game will be ran under a set of house rules that combines aspects from 1st Edition rules through 2nd Edition rules. Most of our group refused to go past 2nd Edition when 3rd Edition released but a couple of our members have played 3.0 as well as 3.5 I believe.

Members of our group are bascially a bunch of old farts who refuse to give up there childhoods haha.

James Fullard: 43 years old - Dungeon Master

Wendell Nelson: 57 years old - Co-Dungeon Master

Joseph Rhoden: 41 years old

Jennifer Rhoden: 33 years old

Matthew Fullard: 20 years old

We all live in Waycross Georgia, so getting together is not much of a problem. Most of the time we meet at my house, mostly because I have my Den set up as my gaming room *yea, I'm a nerd* and I am in the process of finishing up the world map, photo copied from the original World of Greyhawk map and then the land masses were edited a lot and everything was hand colored in, with most everything renamed such as seas, rivers, forests etc etc. Hoping that turns out really well. Anyways, more to come as soon as I have more news.

Long Live Dungeons and Dragons!
